Set up Datameer on AWS

AWS Marketplace provides two Datameer X versions:

  • Datameer X as Self-Service Data Analytics Platform for AWS (version 10.0.1):

  • Datameer X Express (version 7.2.3 - out of maintenance):
    Find AWS-related information and purchasing for Datameer X here.

Troubleshooting

If the Datameer X landing page is not displayed after installing Datameer X

  1. SSH into the AWS server.

  2. Check to see if the instance is running. 

    1. From the command line run sudo service conduct status to view the PID and current state of the instance.

  3. Check the log file for any error or warning messages.

    1. The log files are located in /opt/datameer/current/logs

  4. Restart the server.

    1. To stop the instance, run the command sudo service conductor stop

    2. To start the instance, run the command sudo service conductor start
