Configuring JIRA as a Connection
To configure JIRA as a connector:
- Click the + (plus) button "+" button and select "Connection" or right-click in the browser File Browser and select Create new > Connection. Choose Jira from "Create New" → "Connection". The 'New Connection' tab appears in the menu bar.
Image Added or Image Added - Select "Jira" from the drop-down and confirm with "Next". The type is displayed in the drop-down list.
Image Removed - To connect to JIRA, choose either HTTP or HTTPS for the Schema, provide the Host, the Port, and the Root Path. Then enter the User and Password.
Image Removed - If required, add a description and click Save.
Importing Data with the JIRA Connector
- Click the + (plus) button and select Import Job or right-click in the browser and select Create new > Import Job.
- Click Select Connector, choose the JIRA connector, and click Next.
- Enter the JQL (Java Query Language) query and click Next.
Image Removed - Review the defined fields and click Next.
- Review the schedule and advanced properties for the job and click Next.
- Create a description for the import job and click SaveImage Added
- Enter the Schema from the drop-down, the host, the port and the root path in the 'Web Service' section.
Image Added - Enter the user name and password in the 'Authentication' section and confirm with "Next". The 'Save Connection' tab opens.
Image Added - If needed, enter a description and confirm with "Next". The 'Save Connection' dialog opens.
INFO: The password is the API token you created in your JIRA instance.
Image Added - Select the folder to save the connection, enter a name in "Save as" and confirm with "Save". The connection is saved. Configuring JIRA as a connection is finished.
