In order to use this connector, you must install the proper database driver. For instructions, refer to How to Install Database Drivers.

Configuring PostgreSQL as a Connection

In order to import and export from PostgreSQL, you must first create a connection.

  1. Click the + (plus) button and select Connection or right-click in the browser and select Create new > Connection.
  2. From drop-down list, select PostgreSQL as the connection type. Click Next.
  3. Fill in the Connection String field with the connection to your Oracle database.
  4. Select whether credentials should be provided or asked for. Add the required user name and password. 
  5. Indicate whether the connection should be used for import, export, or both. 


    As of Datameer X v6.3
    A separate authentication section has been added.

  6. Click Next.
  7. If required, add a description and click Save.
