A fast exporting method by loading your data into your S3 server and then copying the data to your Redshift database. 

In order to use this connector, you must first download the following JAR file:

This JAR file must then be added to your custom-jar folder located in the path:

<Your path to Datameer>/modules/dap-conductor/build/<Datameer Version>/etc/custom-jars

Configuring Amazon Redshift as a Connection

In order to import and export from Amazon Redshift, you must first create a connection.

  1. Click the + (plus) button and select Connection or right-click in the browser and select Create new > Connection.
  2. From drop-down list, select Amazon Redshift as the connection type. Select either JDBC or PostgreSQL depending on your driver. Click Next.
  3. Fill in the Connection String field with the connection to your Oracle database.
  4. Select whether credentials should be provided or asked for. Add the required user name and password. 
  5. Indicate whether the connection should be used for import, export, or both. 

    As of Datameer v6.3
    A separate authentication section has been added.


  6. Click Next.
  7. If required, add a description and click Save.
