Azure HDInsight deploys and provisions Apache Hadoop clusters in the cloud, providing a software framework designed to manage, analyze, and report on big data with high reliability and availability. 

Configuring Datameer and GPFS

  1. Open Datameer as an administrator.
  2. Open the Admin tab and select Hadoop Cluster from the side menu.  
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select Hadoop Cluster as the mode.
  5. Fill in your Azure data as shown below. 
    In Name Node it is possible to specify Azure Data Lake storage (ADLS), Windows Azure Storage Blob (WASB) or HDFS storage paths.  


Creating a Connector to Azure

Refer to the Azure Blob Storage instructions.
