Create a connection and import from your MySQL relational database management system.

In order to use this connector, you must install the proper database driver. For instructions, refer to How to Install Database Drivers.

Configuring MySQL as a Connection

In order to import and export with MySQL, you must first create a connection.

Click the + (plus) button and select Connection or right-click in the browser and select Create new > Connection.
From drop-down list, select MySQL as the connection type.
Enter the MySQL host name, the port number, database name, and authentication credentials.
Select if the connection is to be used for import, export, or both.

As of Datameer X v6.3
A separate authentication section has been added.
If required, add a description and click Save.
