The connector allows you to connect to a Zendesk account and access fields within Zendesk to import the data of those fields to Datameer.

Configuring Zendesk as a Connection

Click the + (plus) button and select Connection or right-click in the browser and select Create new > Connection.
Choose Zendesk from the drop-down list.
To connect to Zendesk, choose HTTPS for the Schema, provide the Host, the Port and the Root Path. Then enter the User and Password.
If required, add a description and click Save.

Importing Data with the Zendesk Connector

Click the + (plus) button and select Import Job or right-click in the browser and select Create new > Import Job.
Click Select Connector, choose the Zendesk connector, and click Next.
Select the entity from the drop down list you would like to import data from and click Next.
Review the defined fields and click Next.
Review the schedule and advanced properties for the job and click Next.
Create a description for the import job and click Save.

Tickets	Imports Zendesk ticket data from `tickets.json`
View Execution	Creates a drop down list, select to import data from any view created in your Zendesk from `execute.json`
Activity Stream	Imports activity log data for user actions from `activities.json`
Categories	Imports forum categories from `categories.json`
Custom Roles	Zendesk enterprise accounts can set role settings for users. Import this data from `custom_roles.json`
Forums	Imports forum category data from `forums.json`
Forum Subscriptions	Imports IDs from forum users in `forum_subscriptions.json`
Groups	Imports group agent names from `groups.json`
Group Memberships	Imports group members IDs from `group_memberships.json`
Incremental Tickets	Users can set a start time to import data from `tickets.json`
Macros	Imports all personal and shared macros from `macros.json` of the current user.
Organizations	Imports organization names from `organizations.json`
Requests	Imports customers view of a ticket from `requests.json`
Satisfaction Rating	Imports users satisfaction scores from `satisfaction_ratings.json` (If satisfaction setting has been enabled)
Search	Enables search field to specify import data from tickets, users, organizations, and forum topics.
Sharing Agreements	Imports a list from `sharing_agreements.json` of agreements that allow sharing of tickets between Zendesk accounts
Suspended Tickets	Imports ticket data of tickets that are labeled as suspended from `suspended_tickets.json`
Ticket Fields	Imports a list of custom ticket fields created by the user from `ticket_fields.json`
Ticket Problems	Imports the `problems.json` data from Zendesk
Tags	Imports tag names and count from `tags.json`
Topics	Imports forum topic names and information from `topics.json`
Topic Comments	Imports forum comments per topic from `comments.json` and `topic_comments.json`
Topic Subscriptions	Imports users that are subscribed to forum topics form `subscriptions.json` and `topic_subscriptions.json`
Topic Votes	Imports to userID and topicID that the user voted up from `votes.json` and `topic_votes.json`
Triggers	Imports ticketID and action triggered from `triggers.json`
Users	Imports userID and name from `users.json`
