Workbook Sheet Types

Datameer X provides several sheet types for different functions:

Sheet Type	Description
Data mining sheet	a smart analytics sheet
Data Source	refers to an import job, data link or file upload
External sheet	a sheet within another worksheet
Formula sheet	a sheet in which Datameer X formulas apply
Join sheet	a joint of two sheets
SQL sheet	a sheet in which SQL formulas apply
Union sheet	two sheets with the same schema
Pivot sheet	a sheet with pivot data where rows are transposed to columns in order to group and aggregate data
Deduplicate Sheet	a sheet with eliminated duplicate or redundant data
JSON sheet	a sheet with parsed columns from the JSON format

Data mining sheets are available for smart analytics with four different algorithms:

Data Mining Sheet Type	Description
Clustering	finding non-obvious but related groups within data
Column dependencies	comparing selected groups with each other
Decision tree	enriching a dataset to find a hidden structure within a dataset
Recommandations	predicting the interest of a person based on historical observations of other people's interests
